We want aijo.uk and every aijo product to be usable by everyone, whatever their circumstances or the assistive technology they use. Care, housing, HR and school teams include people with a wide range of needs, and so do the people they support.
Our standard
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website and our applications.
What we have done on this website
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move around them easily.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the item in focus is clearly outlined.
- Text and controls meet colour contrast guidance in both dark and light mode. Use the button at the top of every page to switch between them.
- Animation stops if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without content being lost, and every page works on a phone.
- Product screenshots have text descriptions of what they show.
- Every slider in the price calculator has a number box beside it, so you can type a value instead of dragging.
- Form fields have visible labels, and error messages say what to fix.
Known limitations
- Screenshots show our apps as images. The descriptions cover the main points but not every detail on screen. Ask us and we will talk you through any screen.
- The enquiry form opens your own email app. If that does not work with your setup, email hello@aijo.uk or call +44 7500 407476 instead.
Our products
We apply the same standard to aijo Care, Housing, HR, Rota and School, including semantic structure, keyboard navigation, respect for reduced motion settings and sufficient colour contrast. Our apps also offer light and dark modes. If something in an aijo app does not work for you or your staff, please tell us.
